BRIGHTON 

Grand larceny: Four reports of thefts from vehicles. Between 12:30 and 3 a.m. Oct. 21, someone broke a window and stole a wallet from a vehicle on Crittenden Road, and between 12:15 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 22, someone broke a window and stole a backpack from a vehicle also on Crittenden Road. Between 8:45 p.m. Oct. 21 and 10:10 a.m. Oct. 22, someone broke a window and stole a wallet from a vehicle on Lilac Drive. The wallet later was found at a diner with the contents intact. Between 4 p.m. Oct. 22 and 5:29 a.m. Oct. 23, someone stole case from a backpack that had been left in a vehicle on Greystone Lane. The victim said he might have hit the wrong button when he was trying to lock the vehicle.

Petit larceny: Between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 6 a.m. Oct. 23, someone broke a window of a vehicle on French Road and stole a bowling bag and the contents. The items later were found down the road.

Petit larceny: Between 11 p.m. Oct. 24 and 10 a.m. Oct. 26, seven reports of items stolen from vehicles, some of which were unlocked. Incidents occurred on Greystone Lane, Eastbrooke Lane, Orchard Drive, Westland Avenue and Sunset Drive.

CLARKSON

Larceny: Between Oct. 10 and 11, someone broke into an unlocked car on West Ridge Road and stole $880.00 worth of property, including a black Canon camera, three cartons of cigarettes, two gold chains, three sweatshirts, and a DeWalt power drill.

Stolen vehicle: On Oct. 11, deputies responded to an address on West Ridge Road for the report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was found about five hours later on the east side of Redman Road.

Burglary: Between Oct. 13 and 14, someone broke into a home on West Ridge Road and stole $30 from a purse, $20 from a wallet, and a child support debit card. The rear sliding door of the home was left unlocked. Two vehicles at the home were also rummaged through and a GPS unit was stolen.

GREECE

Grand larceny: A woman was arrested on Oct. 18 after allegedly stealing $5,000 from Walmart between Sept. 17 and Oct. 10. She was a former employee of the Dewey Avenue store.

Criminal mischief: On Oct. 18, someone smashed the rear window of a vehicle parked on Ridgecrest Drive.

Petit larceny: Two people stole $275.95 worth of property from an auto parts store on West Ridge Road on Oct. 20.

Criminal mischief: On Oct. 20, someone scratched a vehicle on Calm Lake Circle.

Criminal possession of stolen property: On Oct. 20, someone was seen riding a motorized shopping cart on Dewey Avenue just as it was reported stolen from Walmart.

Burglary: On Oct. 20, someone, broke into an attached garage on Harvest Drive and stole $1,185 in property.

Criminal mischief: On Oct. 21, someone broke a window at Cloud 9 Vape on Long Pond Road and made entry.

Grand larceny: On Oct. 22, someone stole a Kawasaki four-wheeler from a driveway on Elmgrove Road.

Felony DWI: On Oct. 24, a man crashed his van into a light pole on Strathmore Drive and fled the scene. He was apprehended by patrol, found to be intoxicated, and driving with a suspended license.

Criminal possession of marijuana: On Oct. 24, someone was found in possession of 7 ounces of marijuana at a traffic stop on Dewey Avenue. His car also wasn’t registered.

IRONDEQUOIT

Larceny: On Oct. 6, three men were seen looking into vehicles on Northfield Road. Officers tried to talk with the men, but they took off running. Officers saw a vehicle parked in the parking lot and contacted the vehicle’s owner. The car was stolen from the victim’s driveway.

Criminal mischief: On Oct. 6, someone keyed a vehicle in a parking lot on Titus Avenue.

Burglary: On Oct. 7, someone broke into a home on Parkside Crescent through a rear window and stole several personal items. The rear window led to a sun room. There were no other signs of forced entry.

Burglary: On Oct. 21, someone broke into a shed behind a home on Laurelton Road and stole a snowblower.

Larceny: On Oct. 21, officers responded to a home on Woodside Place for the report of a missing handgun. The victim said he had been living in a nursing home for the last five weeks and that someone had stolen a handgun from his bedroom.

PARMA

Burglary: Between April 11 and Oct. 11, someone stole copper pipes from a vacant house on West Ridge Road. The floor and boiler were also damaged. A contractor reported the theft.

PERINTON

Robbery, assault: Police responded to Whitney Ridge Road on Oct. 19 on a report of a man shot. The man was not shot, but had lacerations to the head, and claimed he was robbed by three masked men who pistol-whipped him and stole his phone, some money and his driver’s license. A stolen handgun was located in the parking lot about 50 yards from where the man said the incident took place. 

Burglary: The owner of Suburban Lawn and Landscape Service reported that someone entered a garage on Fairport Road and stole a cut saw, backpack blowers and several chainsaws between Oct. 20 and 23. 

WEBSTER

Burglary and grand larceny: Someone reported that three televisions, two rings and a watch were stolen from a Ridge Road address on Oct. 15. 

Petit larceny: Kohl’s employees reported that two women pushed two carts of clothing and electronics through a fire door at the Holt Road store and then loaded the merchandise in the vehicle on Oct. 12.
